I started off as an oratorical speaker, reciting poems and competing in competitions. I began playing piano at age six but I feel like music was with me from the very start. My journey consisted of learning about & meeting some truly amazing people. My first piano instructor was Jimmy Kay Kendrick who was a blind musician/my neighbor; Wor

My first piano instructor was Jimmy Kay Kendrick who was a blind musician/my neighbor; Working with him I felt I had permission to learn with gentleness.

I grew up working on my craft and vibes and eventually gave myself permission to create, sing and perform my own songs. Some know me as 35Keys and have mainly associated me with the piano but I have ALWAYS wanted to sing.
I love music so much and I love learning from it...
So now
the musician, singer, artist, songwriter, storyteller and OUR reality is here to stay.
